This isn’t a real nipple

The Nipple Innovation Project (NiP) is the UK’s first mastectomy tattoo charity, providing education and funding for this life-changing service.

Or in short, we help breast cancer survivors get their nipples (and the confidence that comes with them) back, via amazingly realistic, long-lasting tattoos.

We work with a team of experienced, specially trained tattoo artists across the UK and Ireland to make sure breast cancer survivors who want to restore their nipples can do so without the worry of cost or repeat hospital visits.

Nearly 360 men each year are diagnosed with breast cancer. NiP are here to help regain body confidence after surgery, whatever your gender.

Our Work

After losing one or both breasts, the focus is often on reconstructive surgery

Many survivors have said how getting their nipples back after surgery, felt like the “finishing touch” and drawing a line under their cancer journey, able to see themselves, as themselves again.

Nipple tattoos provided through NiP are permanent and created by highly skilled and experienced tattoo artists who can work with you to recreate your original nipples as close as possible, or match an existing one, so you really can reclaim your body.
