Meet Lauren: NiP’s New Funded Artist in Staffordshire

NiP are delighted to announce Lauren as the newest artist to join our directory of funded artists.

Lauren is based in Rugeley, Stafford where she has spent most of her life. With a background in Fine Art, Lauren has spent over 30 years developing her practice, working across many mediums but especially in drawing, painting, and sculpture. Lauren has over a decade of experience in traditional tattooing, with a specialism in colour work. 

Through artistic tattooing, Lauren has seen how empowering body autonomy can be in helping people feel more confident in themselves. When she discovered areola tattooing, she knew straight away that she wanted to use her skillset to help others. As well as watching her nan and other close family members 

On a personal note, Lauren has several close family members who have experienced a breast cancer diagnosis, and so has witnessed first-hand how much it can take away.

In her own words; “I truly believe that high-quality nipple tattoos can help restore not only confidence, but also a sense of comfort and wholeness - that’s why I feel so passionate about this work.”

We’re proud to have her onboard so that more people can continue to access the high-quality, realistic tattoos that they deserve.
