NiP Calendar: Meet the Models - Alex

After navigating her cancer treatment in a very pragmatic, practical way, Alex found that after a while not having acknowledged the emotional impact led her to experience depression and anxiety.

Yoga, meditation and taking a more holistic approach allowed her to reclaim her sense of self, along with her areola tattoos from NiP which allowed her to look in the mirror again and like what she saw after her NHS tattoos faded.

There's a pressure to feel so grateful to be alive after surviving breast cancer, but Alex reminds us that everyone deserves the right to want to feel good about themselves, whether that's through looking after your wellbeing or getting nipple tattoos to help feel 'normal' again.

The calendar will go on sale in October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and you’ll be meeting more of our amazing models and hearing their stories over the next couple of months!
