Welcoming New Trustees to NiP: Strengthening Support for Patients Post-Mastectomy
At NiP, our mission has always been about more than recovery, it’s about holistic support for patients post-mastectomy, addressing not just the physical challenges, but the emotional and mental wellbeing of everyone we work with. Our goal is to empower individuals to rebuild confidence, reconnect with their strengths, and move forward with hope.
As we continue to grow, it’s important that our leadership reflects the expertise and compassion needed to guide this work. That’s why we are delighted to announce the appointment of our newest trustees, who bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the board.
Jason Cohen joined us after sharing the stage with our founder Lucy Thompson at TEDxNHS. With over 20 years of experience in corporate strategy and finance, Jason brings insight into sustainable growth and organisational strategy, helping NiP reach more people while staying true to our values.
Laura Bethel is a senior BABCP Accredited Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor with more than 25 years in mental health services. Her expertise in trauma-informed care and compassion-focused approaches aligns perfectly with NiP’s holistic philosophy. Laura’s experience supports our commitment to making services accessible and supportive not just physically, but emotionally and mentally for every patient post-mastectomy.
These appointments mark an exciting chapter for NiP. With Jason and Laura on board, we are strengthening our ability to provide care that nurtures mind, body, and spirit, ensuring that our services continue to evolve in ways that genuinely support the people who rely on us.
We are proud to have such talented, dedicated individuals guiding NiP, and we look forward to the positive impact their insight and leadership will bring to our community.
